What we do
DeFi is at a fork in the road. Continued regulatory scrutiny and unhappy users burned by unsustainable APYs present us all with a simple choice: Either we continue building an entirely open yet isolated ecosystem, or we begin bridging the gap between all financial services and DeFi, through a willingness to engage with regulation and compliance.
Violet’s mission is to evolve trust in DeFi towards eventually running all finance on-chain. Our infrastructure is applicable to many use cases, however our near-term focus is on building Mauve, the first compliant and registered DEX. In service of our mission, we have raised a total of $15m from leading venture and crypto native investors, including BlueYard, Balderton, and Coinbase Ventures.
As we progress on our ambitious roadmap, we are looking for a staff level backend engineer to join our talented team. We are building cutting edge compliance and identity management infrastructure at the intersection of web2 and web3, with a particular focus on user data privacy. We believe our work is the foundation of the next growth phase of crypto overall.
